Minor in Philosophy

The minor in philosophy is designed to sharpen critical thinking while addressing profound issues about the nature of mind, science, morality and art.

SSC2413  Foundations of American Experience
SSC2423 Development of American Experience
Plus five upper division courses in philosophy (15 credit hours)

Note: SSC3723  (Ethics) and SSC3733 (Aesthetics) are philosophy courses.
Also, MCS1203 (Logic) can be taken in place of one philosophy classe.
