Partnership with Foundations

As a private university, Lawrence Tech cannot rely on state support; therefore, support from foundations is particularly important to enable us to provide our students with needed scholarships, updated laboratories and equipment, and the best learning environment.

In addition, foundations can help Lawrence Tech serve as a resource to local schools and youth-serving agencies through innovative collaborative programs, such as our recent collaboration with the Michigan Metro Girl Scout Council to engage girls from Detroit’s public housing communities in exciting, "girl-friendly" engineering, technology, and science summer programs at Lawrence Tech.
